Service Description
Narrative Practice: Giving Voice to Our Experience Creativity and the sharing of ideas, stories, and our general sense of feeling connected can be disrupted during times of uncertainty. The ability to tell our story and give voice to our experiences is a powerful tool for cultivating a sense of empowerment. This training will focus on the power of storytelling as a form of professional development. Narrative practices are composed of reflective exercises ranging from written word, movement, art, music, and more. As people make space for listening to their own stories they open the doorway for authenticity, inclusivity, reciprocity, empowerment, trust, challenge, community, and responsibility within other relationships. Objectives: * Familiarize attendees with the power of storytelling & listening *Support training intended to center narrative practice as a means of professional self-care during uncertain times Program Offerings: Session 1 (90 Mins): Introduction to storytelling and listening as self-care Session 2 (90 Mins): Deepening awareness of our own stories Access to Inner Resilience Practice Library
